The species, which until 2015 was referred to as Rhogogaster viridis, is now officially called Rhogogaster scalaris.
However, it is often misidentified, so it is usually better to use the complex Rhogogaster viridis.
The true Rhogogaster viridis is the mostly rare species formerly called Rhogogaster dryas.
