Writer, dog walker. It's baffling that so many people think "nature" is some nebulous place outside the city limits. They see small plants in the cracks and call them weeds. They see small creatures in their homes and call them pests. They don't consider squirrels and pigeons "wild animals" and they don't stop to smell anything that isn't a rose.
