I am the Coastal Program Manager for the Hoonah Indian Association, formerly an Americorps VISTA member in Hoonah. My work is focused on coastal resources management, marine research, assessing the vulnerability & resilience of indigenous subsistence practices, outreach and engagement, and more. We seek to understand the effects of marine and climate changes on traditional subsistence resources & lifestyles. I am also leading a scientific diving program to inventory, map, and monitor kelp forest ecosystems.
