I grew up doing graffiti in Northern California, but then I found a much healthier obsession with the plants and fungi that I find here. I would call myself an amateur botanist and mycologist, rather than a graffiti artist now. I wish I had switched activities sooner, because being in nature and learning about evolution has been very fulfilling. Something clicked and I became completely focused on taxonomy/biology during winter of 2022-2023. I'm mostly interested in plants and fungi, but I like to learn about all organisms and natural sciences. I was a journeyman commercial electrician, but it bored me. I've hardly ever been outside of Northern California, so that's where most of my knowledge is. I've almost always been in Sacramento, Sierra Nevada Foothills, or SF bay area.
