Gary spent eleven years of his career working as a British Columbia Park Ranger in various provincial parks and protected areas.

This job put him in some of the most pristine natural areas found in North America's Pacific Northwest, and a camera was always in his toolkit.

He now spends much of my time as a dedicated wildlife photographer based on Vancouver Island.

His photography goals include using photographs and videos to help preserve our natural world, and the wildlife he encounters in it.
