I'm an Evolutionary Ecologist that is currently doing a postdoc at the University of Zurich with Jordi Bascompte. My scientific goal is to understand how the ecology and evolution of species interactions affect the dynamics of ecosystems and to instill an appreciation for these phenomena in others. I have studied a variety of organisms (plants, insects, rattlesnakes, squirrels, seabirds, and lizards) in numerous ecosystems (oceanic islands in the Pacific, tropical rainforests in Australia, savannah-woodlands in Kenya, and coastal dunes in California). I joined iNaturalist to share my observations and to keep building my skills as a naturalist.
