I am biologist by profession and study honeybee communication. I like to photograph insects, especially documenting behaviour and significant life-history events. But besides insects I have a passion for monocot flowers -- lilies, irises, orchids and the like. I try to document as many species of them as possible, from big and spectacular to tiny and barely visible. I also take interest in parasitic and carnivorous plants.
