I am a keen gardener and host bees annually at my home. This has expanded my interest in the pollinator world, and I have recently become a "Butterfly Ranger" with the David Suzuki Foundation. I manage a "Green street", and have a focus on pollinator plants and recently introduced native plants to attract more native bees and provide host plants. Part of the programme involves observing and recording the butterfly population. It's impossible to not observe and record a variety of interesting subjects.
