As a nature lover, I will look at and try to identify anything living. I have a Bachelor's degree in Biology (classes in general biology, botany, entomology, mycology, etc.) and a Master's degree in Environmental Sciences (emphasis on aquatic ecosystems). Though I enjoy looking at every organism around me, I know the most about birds and butterflies. For the past decade or so I have been participating in butterfly counts and I have taken a lepidoptera class with the Southwestern Research Station. Also, for the same amount of time, I have been helping with bird counts and surveys, bird banding, leading beginning bird walks, and teaching a few classes on birds to beginners. I am currently working as a seasonal field biologist conducting breeding bird surveys in the southwestern US.
