I am a biologist and naturalist, working in the Hickory Nut Gorge area of western North Carolina for 25 years. I am currently the Environmental Management Officer for the Town of Lake Lure. My career has involved inventorying and monitoring rare plant species and communities of Hickory Nut Gorge. I am an avid hiker, photographer and outdoorsman.
