My botanical background is mainly from Arkansas and Missouri. I earned my graduate degree in biology from Arkansas State University where I researched the botanical diversity of Lower Mississippi River islands. Currently, I work for the Missouri Botanical Garden as a restoration ecologist.

I am mostly interested in plants, but find interest in all forms of life!
