I have an MS in environmental biology and spent 13 years working as a water quality scientist. I have been banding birds for over 10 years and currently run a bird banding station outside of Kingston, NY. I love photographing and identifying insects, and really anything that I can potentially ID! I have recently gotten more into botany but I still have a lot to learn in that field, and mosses and lichens are also a newer challenge. On most days with decent weather you will find me outside looking for birds and anything that the season has to offer.
