I'm trained in anthropology - physical, genetics, cultural, and linguistic - and bring from that observation process, acute attention to details, and thirst for deeper knowledge of anything catching my attention.
I began here on a quest to identify some of the birds coming to the feeder at a friend's house - the backyard birds here in Iowa are so much more colorful than those where I grew up! - and found a desire to contribute to observations in my area of all nature.
