I've spent the last 30 years living throughout Alaska with field guides in hand, learning about whatever plants, animals, rocks etc might be nearby. I have a BS in zoology, and have been working part time for FWS for the last 9 years performing bird and vegetation surveys. My current home is Sitka, and I spend considerable time with my husband (professional photographer) Don Kluting exploring nearby ridges and beaches.
