I make art about nature and other things. I like lichens and wildflowers most. I know many things about insects, but I decided now I want to learn plants. I am trying to learn all Ohio plants I can find. My goal is happen I can go outside and identify every plant and lichen I see. I start small, I learn a little bit more about wildflowers every time I go hiking. I write in my notebook every wildflower I see that happen I know, and take pictures. I come home with my pictures and identify everything I don't know. Most time, I only need identify one or two new things, but I am only learning now spring wildflowers in woods. When it is time for me learn Summer prairie and fen wildflowers, I think I will become overwhelmed!

I also want to visit all Ohio State Nature Preserves sometime. Many are far away, but I will start with close preserves.
