For this third iNaturalist assignment, I took a nature walk around the Chestnut Hill Reservoir right off of lower campus of Boston College. I went around 6:30pm in the evening and it was sunset and definitely fall weather, a little windy but it was great weather for a walk. The sky was beautiful and it had rained the day before so the weather was the best. I got a lot of pictures and observations of different plants. I loved walking up the paths around the reservoir main path as the trees made a tunnel of nature and the leaves were all changing. It was truly fall! The plant pictures that I took and observed were all around me and I tried to get observations from each of the plant classifications. I'm not sure if I got all of them. The trees and colors of the leaves were beautiful too. Today was a pretty walk and it was so nice to get out after a day of pouring rain.

I went around 2:00pm in the afternoon and it was sunny and definitely fall weather, a little windy but it was great weather for a walk. I got a lot of pictures and observations of different plants since I did not see a lot of animals around. There were some squirrels running up some trees. I loved walking up the paths around the reservoir main path as the trees made a tunnel of nature and the leaves were all changing. It was truly fall! The fungi pictures that I took and observed were all on trees since I did not know what other fungi to look for.

I went around 5:00pm in the evening and it had dumped rain in the morning. However the weather when I went was beautiful and sunny, a little windy but it was great weather for a walk. I got a lot of pictures and observations of different plants since I did not see a lot of animals around. There were some squirrels running up some trees. I loved walking up the paths around the reservoir main path as the trees made a tunnel of nature and the leaves were all changing. It has truly become fall! I am excited for the fall colors and the nature of the changing season! :)
