Growing in a big ol' troop out of leaf litter under redwoods, alder, Cascara.
Caps large and concave. Sulcate margins.
No latex from gills.
Stipe broke easily/cleanly.
Skeleton and feathers; at edge of trail in grassland by large oak tree
My observation of the Egretta is simply beautiful the feathers are wide and the layers are memorizing as it flew to the other side of the lake. I have only seen two of the same organism and they are also looking for food to eat this morning inside the lake.
The larval stage of a lady beetle found on a blade of grass. Found the morning of May 17th with several grouped together. Black with orange spots
