Hippia trilobata

rare Langeberg endemic; only known from two previous collections (Swellendam & Garcia^s Pass); no sign of infl; 20-30cm tall, on steep, damp south facing slopes, where locally common; veld 3yrs old; no threats here; but scattered pines nearby

Extremely invasive Australian myrtle, but this sighting makes me extraordinarily happy. The plants had the two introduced Biological Control Agents, as well as some other white lice thingies that rendered some of these plants quite unhappy (and me very happy).
