Specimen was found with other butterflies in the Sonoma State Butterfly Garden. Back of its hind wings look to have a tint of blue, while the underside has orange and cream color circular patterns. The body of the specimen is thick while its antennae is thin. It has white spots going alongside of its body.
Temperature: 74 F
Specimen was found flying near some tall dry grass and through the trees. It was mostly by itself and it wasn't flying with any other specimens.
Small plant. Stalks with individually sprouting flowers. Oval shaped leaves in a straight, orderly fashion.
Wrong again Google earth. This isn’t Dolan ridge.
