Seek incorrectly IDed this as eastern red backed, Plethodon cinereus. It’s blue spotted. The body is uniformly colored with white species on the back that transition to blue on the sides. Variations in background body color are due only to reflection.
I am pretty certain of this ID, so if you disagree, please make sure it is from personal knowledge of the species and not the ID from the iNaturalist AI which I believe to be incorrect. I’d really like to know reasoning as well.
