Malva Parviflora, note bumpiness of seed covering between lines. Neglecta has a smooth seed covering between its lines.

Lactarius rufulus. Light maple syrup notes after drying. Recommend slow drying instead of dehydrator as the note was lessened when high heat was used. Light latex, spiky orange hairs at base.

Taste: Similar to spinach. I eat this quite often in spring. You can pull the whole rosette and place it in a little water in a bowl on your counter and it stays fresh.
