This little guy was using a sponge instead of a shell form protection! this is the second time this was observed here in Saint Petersburg. This hermit crab was caught and released from the Discovery out of Downtown Saint Petersburg.

Caught this trunkfish at site 12 on the TBW eco-vessel. We have never caught one at this later juvenile stage. We may have caught a baby in the past but it is difficult to tell the difference between juvenile trunkfish and cow fish.
