Descrição

Ah the wee weed so ubiquitous in each and every asphalt crack. It minds not the weight of tires that roll over it. It lies low, hugging the glimpses of the Earth below, that branch and fork across the roads, as if the Earth were a tree growing back across this asphalt hellscape. In enough time, unmaintained, the branches of this Earth tree would flush with foliage, an exposed plain, and this wee plant could grow tall, proud, in endless linear fields, crossing the valleys in a network of right angles and straightaways. But alas, the road will be repaved in time, and these wee outgrowths of wild life will be entombed in a burning hot layer of man-made stone, itself made from the fossil remains of prehistoric life, and aggregate fragments of rock, small pieces of the Earth itself. And that molten asphalt will cool and harden, and in time, crack again..
