This young eagle, his/her same-age buddy, and six corvid sidekicks were causing a ruckus. They'd found a stray cat under a bush (yum) which flushed towards me and escaped. That's why they look annoyed.

What I wrote in 2015: Felimida clenchi - Harlequin Sea Goddess - ID as per Humann and deLoach, p. 218. Kudos to guide Nick for the find! About 1/2" long. 10' depth.

Adults beginning to build nests, no eggs yet though. Immature birds were super curious and flew quite low overhead.
