Red Lichen

Sorry: got carried away.
But this was the only rock 'painted red' in the entire landscape. Some other rocks had flecks of this Lichen, and one or two had quite some, but this was the only extensive colony. North (equatorward) facing rocks only.
Veld 15 months old - perhaps smaller rocks got scorched by the fire killing the Lichen?

I hope that this is not another Green Algae!
