Welcome to the Denver EcoFlora project! The mission of this project is to connect citizens with biodiversity and natural history collections in meaningful and engaging ways.
Our main goals are to:
- Develop and host workshops on the use of iNaturalist and reporting observations to the EcoFlora project.
- Provide outreach to underserved communities to increase diverse participation.
- Lead field trips to floristically diverse or under-observed areas in the metro area to document biodiversity.
- Develop engaging EcoFlora challenges to retain participation.
- Speak on the value of natural history collections in understanding biodiversity, climate change, and conservation.
