Save the date - Kimberlie's 2nd Annual Birthday BioBlitz!!
I've had several questions lately about whether I'm going to make my Birthday BioBlitz an annual event. Well, heck YEAH!
More info will follow as it gets closer, but it will be similar to last year's event. (Daylight bioblitz followed by mothing at the same location, Overton Ridge Park in Keller. Open to anyone and everyone.)
So, in the meantime, mark your calendars as BUSY for Saturday, September 28th from 5-10pm(-ish).

Waaaa! :( I'll be out of town then in Reno Nevada. Shucks.
Ooh! I'll be in the DFW area almost every other weekend starting in August. Will let you know if things change, but count me in, and thank you for the invite! What a fantastic way to spend a birthday.

I'll try! My son may be back for the first time in three years backpacking around India, Thailand, etc.. That might stop my coming! I've never been to a bioblitz...

I'm getting excited about Saturday!!! If you are planning to bring your portable moth setup, it would be appreciated! I'm advertising this event in the surrounding neighborhood so hopefully we will get a lot of neighbors to convert, uhhh... I mean "to join" us in our iNat craziness! If you need to reach out to me, my cell is 682-597-0612. (I often don't answer calls from numbers I don't know, so text if that happens!)
Ugh. I'm going to miss it. My son has been playing soccer out of Arlington, but there isn't a game this weekend. :-(
