I've been interested in birds for a long time, but recently developed an interest in butterflies and am taking part in a butterfly monitoring project by hiking a fixed route frequently between April and October and counting the butterflies. While doing this I have been keeping track of what plants are blooming and thought iNaturalist might be a good place to keep track of other things I am seeing on the butterfly monitoring route.
