At present, joining a local service/education org ... the Blackland Prairie Texas Master Naturalist (BPTMN) chapter.. They coordinate via this site. I'm a lifelong citizen of the plant, active in Girl Scouts and also Scouts USA (i.e., Boy Scouts) ... mostly in the natural and physical sciences ... and also introduccing the wonders of nature to young minds via intermittent school-based STEM and environmental sciences activities. I'm also engaged with EarthX and Keep Texas Beautiful (Keep Allen Beautiful chapter).

Can't help but enjoy the wonders of flora/fauna, ecosystems, weather, geology, and climate while pursuing my real love ... rock and mineral collecting.
