I teach writing for engineers at Stanford and run a program there. My background is in English lit. I have always loved animals and trees. I volunteered with wildlife rescue for a time. Taking Bob Siegel's Photographing Nature class inspired me to learn more about the natural world, which I try to do when time permits. I am grateful for the amazing expertise on this site.
