I love nature: Science, adventure, activity, peace, conservation, history, and the interconnectedness of it all!

Nitty Gritty:
I work at Sonoma State University's Center for Environmental Inquiry and UCCE Sonoma's Sudden Oak Death outreach program. I research interactions between SOD and insects on its foliar host, California Bay Laurel, in the lab of Dr. Nathan Rank. I also serve as Secretary on the Board of Directors for the California Native Plant Society (CNPS) Milo Baker Chapter. Lastly, I'm a field researcher, trainer, and presenter for the Right of Way project with The Pollinator Partnership.
