- Ask your town to have an IMP (Invasive Management Plan).
- If you document (e.g., via Inat) natural areas of interest, no one will be able to claim in the future that they are worthless.
- Never assume a place is protected forever, especially if a sign says so.
- Don't ignore rumors about a natural place being threatened; take pictures; ask questions; invalid answers are a clue.
