I'm an agroecologist working at the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna in Pisa, Italy. My research focusses on vegetation management in and around cropped fields, with a special focus on the role of landscape-wide management. In cropped fields I study cropping system diversification to support weed management and increase soil fertility. Around the cropped fields, I'm interested in semi-natural habitat management to support functional biodiversity for ecosystem service provisioning (e.g. pest control and crop pollination).
