In the field, I thought these little spiky red balls were some sort of fruit, but the ID algorithm has suggested they are actually galls. So I'm taking the genus suggestion from the algorithm. Diplolepis polita and Deiplolepis bicolor were the top species suggestions, but I'm leaning kinda more towards D. polita.
