A site and its many botanical riches previously discovered by Lichenologist, Chris Lewis. Appears to be a new individual at the site; I located it on Acer, by a small ephemeral pool.
Interestingly, on Juniperus virginiana.
This oak moss was attached to a decomposing piece of wood. It was found on the ground in the sunlight, presumably having fallen off a decomposing tree or stick. There were no other individuals in the area.
On a decaying spruce tree in combination with common powderhorn.
