This scat was placed next to a boulder on a hiking trail on a rocky slope in deciduous forest. The understory is Mountain Laurel. Large glacial erratics provide suitable den sites, although no den was identified. The scat was very firm, contained hair and small bones and was segmented.
Probably 2 different species.
