In the same forest area with many of the smaller branched Phaeoclavulina that do not stain. See last posting.
Under conifers. Near the creek with other bushes and tall grasses.
Spores angular, somewhat equilateral (8.8 - 9.8) x (7.1 - 7.8)
Under conifers, salix, sphagnum.
Cap 3.5 cms., viscid.
With small, abrupt bulb.
Spores elliptic, oval, (9.1-12.5) x (5.3-6.5)
