The long upright shoots is characteristic of species. Prominent closing bodies. Pungent smell. ID suggested by C Klak.
Single stem. On sand just beyond Uilenkraalsriver. Bract leaflike 7mm and bracteoles pallid and 4mm. These lengths closer to D arenicola seen at Agulhas NP. Here in deep sand and quite far from limestone ridges.
