I am pretty sure they are growing from Redwood roots covered in moss. There are a few Tanoak seedlings a couple feet away but almost all trees around are redwood and there is a small redwood directly above. Pics 6 and 7 are uv/no uv

Fruitbody 1.5 - 6 mm across. Stipe 1.5 - 3 mm long. Growing on cedar twig. Spores 21 - 25.7 x 5.6 - 6.6 um. Asci tips not bluing in Lugol's solution. Based on the spore size, and asci tips not bluing in iodine, I believe this is Chloroscypha enterochroma rather than Chloroscypha alutipes.
