I'm studying western sword fern (Polystichum munitum, POMU) pinnae morphological features, such as SLA and scale density, in relation to climate within the coast redwood forest.

I am also examining and cataloging character features of POMU indusia, scales, and pinna margins which can vary within and among populations.
