BioBlitz Canada 150

BioBlitz Canada 150 was coordinated by the Canadian Wildlife Federation and partners in conservation and funded by the Government of Canada as one of 38 Canada150 Signature Projects. Using iNaturalist Canada as the official platform, species observations were recorded at 35 events across the country that brought together the Canadian public with scientists to explore and inventory the richness of Canada’s biodiversity. Click on the “See Results” tab for an overview of what was found (you may need to adjust the window size to see the entire page). And discover more stories of Canada’s “nature selfie” at bioblitzcanada.ca. You can still be a part of BioBlitz Canada 150 by helping to identify species listed here in this project. You can continue to bioblitz all year round by adding your wildlife observations to iNaturalist.ca. If you haven’t already, download the free iNaturalist Canada app and you can help contribute to this ongoing data base.
