AU Terrestrial Nature and Plastic

The purpose of this project is to photograph and document how organisms are affected by plastic in the terrestrial environment of Australia. This could be birds constructing nests with straws or bits of plastic, or organisms using plastic as a habitat, or part of their life cycle etc.

For observations of organisms affected by plastic in Australia's marine environment, please add to this project.

Nature and Plastic is an umbrella project that shows how these two projects and their New Zealand counterparts track against each other.
