How to spot an African Carder Bee
The African Carder Bee looks very similar to native species in the same family. So how do you tell the difference?
Look at the abdomen of the bee, specifically at the stripes. In the photo are they made of fine hairs or are they hard, as if made of nail polish? If you answered the latter, it is likely you've snapped a photo of the introduced African Carder Bee!
