Observações de taylorpap

I thought this was bird poop at first but then I realized it was only growing on one branch. It was very sticky and had no smell and it was everywhere.

This plant stood out to me because it was at the strebel homestead right in the middle of the ruins of an old house and besides one plant of poison oak this was the only other living thing.

poison oak is EVERYWHERE, it is probably the prettiest plant ever. This particular poison oak I found in the strebel homestead and it was right in the middle of the ruins of an old house.

this beetle burro was found inside a redwood tree branch. I believe it was from atleast a year ago because it looks like it was there for awhile.

I loved this redwood tree because it still had burn marks from the fire in 1964.

I love this kind of lichen or atleast I think it is lichen. It looks like lettuce growing on a stick

this fern I found underneath the redwood trees. it was very shady and it was the only fern within 5 meters all around.

This banana slug was right on the trail on the damp ground in the shade right after it had rained. once we got close the slug got scared and became smaller.

this mole was about 5 inches long and has been dead for about 2-4 days. It did not smell bad and it was very cute.

This tree was the tallest redwood tree I have seen lately. some of it was still burned from the 1964 fire.

this is the exoskeleton of a dragon fly. was found in the green grasses right by the pond.

about 1 centimeter long and stayed on the fish net for a few hours, very pretty blue color.

very pretty pink. found near Frog Pond. about 7 inches tall but falling over.

only found near ponds, it is very sharp and hurts a lot! about 4 inches tall.

this water snail was about 3 inches under the water in a pond. The snail is about 1 inch wide and 1 inch tall.

Very Very crumbly, looks spiky, comes apart in my hand, has a reddish color to it and stands at about 7 feet tall.

this little white butterfly is 1 inch long and 1 inch all. hanging out in the grasslands and it has 2 black dots on each side that look like eyes.

I love manzinita trees. I think some people call them "refrigerator trees" because they are cold. I love how the layers peel off the trunk of the tree.

This 1 inch frog was hanging out by a pond in the dirt. It was one on few that where green and had yellow legs

This butterfly was in the grasslands and I love he marks on its wings because they look like eyes. about 1 inch long and 1 inch tall.

This grasshopper was right by an ant hill hanging out in the shade in the dirt.

This 5 legged frog jumped on me while I was sitting by a pond. The frog had an extra back leg, but it was a dead leg because it did not move.

This praying mantis was hanging out in the sun in the middle of the grasslands. it is 3 inches long and has 4 wings.

This Ant Lion was inside a hole in the ground about a 2 centimeters deep. This Ant Lion had pinchers and fuzz all over its body

This hole in the ground is an Ant Lion Home. they are about 1 centimeter wide and 2 centimeters deep.

2 inches from head to tail. Was hiding under a rock in the shade way off trail

Grasslands where about 4 feet tall. While walking through them it felt like a corn maze.
