Nesting Digger Bees in a vertical clay bluff 20 feet from the edge of a pond. Nest holes are 1/2 to 5/8 inch diameter. Most are 4 to 6 feet high on the base. Location has been documented several years. They are normally active about 5 weeks starting in mid-April.
