Seems to be an oak gall, however, I am definitely unsure. It was found under an oak tree. Is kind of in the shape of a mushroom and is a clay brown color. There is lichen growing out of the bottom . Is a little over one inch in length. This mysterious item was found on the ground under an oak tree.

This beetle is just hanging out on a little milkweed plant. Beetle is possibly sucking nectar or just eating the plant itself. Beetle is about half an inch and is a mixture of blue, turquoise, and purple.
