There's already a widely used field Insect life stage which has a handy drop-down list of all the life stages. However, sometimes there's more than one stage present in one observation. For these cases, I've also made stand-alone fields for each life stage. Now, for example, you can add the fields "insect life stage: egg(s)" and "insect life stage" adult(s)" to an observation of an adult with eggs.
