Summary ²

Lycodon anamallensis, commonly known as the slender wolf snake is a species of colubrid snake, found in India and Sri Lanka. As all members of the genus it is a nocturnal species that is commonly found in and around human habitations, apart from natural habitat. This species was, previously, under the name Lycodon osmanhilli been thought to be endemic to Sri Lanka, till a recently when its nomenclature, classification and distribution were resolved.
