Unmistakable! Iridescent green body and forewings, the latter marked with small white spots near the margins. This is a common species on Martha's Vineyard, occurring in a wide range of open or wooded settings. A spring-fall species, though adults are rarely observed above ground in the fall; on the Vineyard, adults are mostly observed from mid-April into July. Easily found along fire lanes in Manuel F. Correllus State Forest or along trails in wooded areas elsewhere on the Vineyard.
