This gray bird is so tiny and secretive. They almost become a shadow when they stop moving.
They forage for seeds on the ground.
Their alarm call is a slightly louder version of their contact call, it sounds like two tiny rocks clicking together.
Their song is a trill, it sounds like a rapid tiny bell going off. '' Triiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiil! ''
